The Recipe

I’m riffing on RM Greta’s take and connecting this leg to the previous one 🙂

Adventurer Goulash

  • Prep Time: Varies
  • Cook Time: 0
  • Total Time: Varies
  • Serves: 4

Ingredients

  • 4 adventurers (seasoned, not green)
  • Parsley for garnish (anything green will work, take advantage of what’s available locally/seasonally)

Preparation

Step 1:

Relish in the demise of the adventurers. Fear adds zing to the flesh, and cracking some bones will help you get at that rich marrow. However, don’t sacrifice efficiency.

Step 2:

Remove inedible bits. This includes any metal armor, weapons, jewelry, or talismans. Nothing ruins your day like cracking a tooth on a gauntlet or holy symbol that you missed.

Step 3:

Combine body parts. Mix them all together. Have fun with it!

Step 4:

Gorge yourself. It’s a well-earned meal.

Instructions

Leg 5 – The Recipe Leg: Write your microfiction as a recipe. It can be for an occult meal, a creature, a curse, a city, a saint, a machine, a feeling, a failed summoning, or anything else that can be prepared badly or maliciously in a bowl.
